ABOUT SCVA

For over five decades, the Southern California Volleyball Association (SCVA) has provided opportunities for volleyball training and competition throughout Southern California and Southern Nevada. Established in 1970 as a nonprofit corporation, SCVA continues to serve as a leading organization for organized volleyball in the region.

SCVA is committed to creating a safe, structured, and enjoyable environment for life-long participation in the sport.

Mission Statement:
To offer a diverse, safe, positive, and competitive volleyball experience to athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators through education, training, and organized play.

Vision Statement:
To grow the sport by encouraging participation across all levels—athletes, coaches, officials, administrators, and fans—in a way that promotes skill development, sportsmanship, and community engagement while maintaining full compliance with all national, state, and local regulations.​

For over five decades, SCVA has played a pivotal role in shaping volleyball in the SCVA region and the nation. Our legacy includes supporting athletes on their competitive journeys, building strong partnerships with clubs and families, and contributing to volleyball culture at every age and skill level.
