2018 SCVA Boys Holiday Classic Flowchart
2018 Playing Grid Tie Breaking Procedures
Tie Breaking Procedure Update:

For the majority of the tournament, the SCVA will use the regional tie-breaking procedures:

2 way tie – head to head result will be used to break the tie

3 way tie – the tie will be broken using game percentage and point percentage

However, after Round 2, 4 out of the 5 gold brackets will only consist of first place teams from Round 2 pools.  Thus, if there is a tie in Round 2, with teams eligible for the gold bracket, the following procedures will be used:

2 way tie – head to head result will be used to break the tie

3 way tie – the three teams tied, fighting to get into the gold bracket (a three way tie for 1st place), will play off the tie on the court with 2 one set to 25 tie breakers.  A three way tie for 2ndin a pool will not be played off on the court, but will be broken by game percentage and point percentage.
